Ripley is waiting for you at Underdog Rescue MN in Minneapolis, MN 55416. Ripley is a senior Yorkie with the sweetest little old-man heart. He is gentle, quiet, and easy to love — the kind of dog who is simply happy to have a warm home, a soft blanket, and kind people nearby. He enjoys exploring at his own pace, lounging on the couch, and taking peaceful afternoon naps tucked into something fuzzy. Ripley is blind, so he appreciates a calm, thoughtful home where people move gently around him and talk to him before picking him up. Loud noises and abrupt movements can startle him, but with patience and reassurance, he settles in and makes wonderful company. He may be shy at first, especially after all he has been through, but he warms up beautifully when given time and kindness. Outside, Ripley loves to wander, sniff, and take in all the smells, so he would be happiest with a secure fenced yard where he can safely explore. He gets along perfectly with other friendly dogs, but he could also do well as an only dog if his people are home most of the time. He has not shown much interest in toys, but he is a big fan of soft treats and cozy couch time. Ripley is affectionate, well-mannered, gentle, and sweet in the quietest way. He does not ask for much — just a safe place to land, a patient family to love him, and a soft blanket to call his own.
