If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, adventure partner, future agility star, and best friend all rolled into one adorable package, Roo may be just the pup for you! This young Shepherd mix is a confident, intelligent, and incredibly loving puppy who approaches life with enthusiasm and joy. Since settling into her foster home, Roo has really blossomed. While she still has all the playful puppy energy you’d expect, she’s also learned how to relax and loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her people after a day of fun. Roo loves everyone she meets and never misses an opportunity to make a new friend. Whether she’s greeting neighbors, playing soccer with the neighbor’s kids, or making friends with other dogs, her happy, outgoing personality shines through. She has been wonderful with children and would make an incredible family dog. As you’d expect from a young Shepherd mix, Roo enjoys staying active. Running, exploring, playing with other dogs, chewing on sticks and bones, and investigating the world around her are some of her favorite hobbies. She still plays hard, but she also sleeps hard, happily recharging for her next adventure. One of Roo’s greatest loves is water. Sprinklers, hoses, puppy pools, beaches—you name it, she’s a fan. She happily chases water from the sprinkler, splashes in pools, and will even grab the hose and proudly carry it around the yard. Watching Roo discover water is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. Roo is an exceptionally smart puppy who is eager to please and highly food motivated. She has excellent recall, already knows “sit,” and is making great progress learning “down” and “stay.” She’s also settling into a great routine with both potty training and crate training.
