Cheeto is waiting for you at Greater California German Shepherd Rescue in Modesto, CA 95357. Cheeto is one of three feral pups found dumped at the side of the road in Elk Grove. His siblings Frito and Dorito are also in our group.Within the first few days out of the shelter, we managed to get him housebroken and comfortable being around our dogs who he is constantly watching and learning from. And in the (only) 11 days we've been fostering him, he's gone from literally being afraid of his own reflection (see video) to fitting right in with our pack. Every day is another adventure in first time new experiences, and building more confidence and calm. He does have a bit of the stubbornness that Sable GSDs are known for. But that is only because he's above average intelligence. This guy is going to makes some lucky family very happy.Cats and small critters unknown.
