Emi is a sweet 1-year-old female Great Pyrenees mix with a big heart and lots of love to give. She’s playful, affectionate, and enjoys being around people and other dogs. True to her breed mix, she’s intelligent, loyal, and loves having outdoor space to explore and stretch her legs. She is: • 1 year old and house trained • spayed Female Great Pyrenees mix • Friendly and loving • Great with people and dogs • Playful but also enjoys relaxing by your side • Looking for a caring, committed home Emi would do best with a family or individual who understands large breeds and can give her the attention, exercise, and love she deserves. She’s still young and eager to continue learning and growing with her new family. They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.
