Jasper-Coming Soon is waiting for you at Barking Dog Farm Rescue in Newport, NH 03773. Welcome to rescue Jasper!!! This handsome 12 week old great dane will be available for adoption soon! From his foster: It’s been one week since Jasper has been here, and he’s finally starting to explore on his own (with supervision, of course ). He’s eating great! We’re working on jumping. His paws are big and clumsy, so they hurt. He loves to chew on toys, knows how to sit now, and is starting to listen better when we tell him not to jump. Of course, we’re also working on potty training, which takes a lot of time and patience. He’s a good boy! They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash. You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries. Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called. A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place. If all are in agreement an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid. Adoption fees for dogs are $500. for adults over 12 months, $600 for puppies 12 months and younger as well as small breed dogs. Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All
