Meet Cosmo – Your Future Couch Companion Cosmo is a 3-year-old Schnauzer mix who weighs 39 pounds and is the perfect blend of adventure buddy and cuddle bug. He may be a little shy when you first meet him, but give him a little time and you'll quickly discover a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being close to his people. Cosmo is house trained and can be trusted loose in the home, often choosing the couch as his favorite place to snooze. He tolerates his crate but would much rather stretch out somewhere cozy. His favorite day includes a long walk, a good bone to chew on, and plenty of cuddle time afterward. He's also a smart boy who's currently learning "sit" and "lay down." In his foster home, Cosmo has done well with cats and teenage children. We were told that he grew up with other dogs and kids of all ages and was wonderful with them. His foster dad says that although Cosmo was a little reserved at first, he's becoming more comfortable every day. "He loves to go on walks and has a very relaxed personality. He likes cuddling on the couch with us while we watch a movie." If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys both quiet evenings and outdoor adventures, Cosmo may be the perfect addition to your family. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
