Foxy
About Foxy (Shiba inu) in Normal
Foxy is waiting for you at Wish Bone Canine Rescue in United States. Meet Foxy! Foxy is a sweet, loyal girl who’s both house‑trained and crate‑trained—though she’d much rather be out with her people when they’re home. Her favorite place to sleep is in bed with her foster parents, and she absolutely loves to cuddle. She is a 2 year old Shiba Inu mix who weighs 16 lbs. She’s currently doing crate time alongside the male dog in her foster home, as well as the cats. Foxy tends to do best with women but truly likes everyone. She can get startled if someone approaches too quickly, so a slow, gentle introduction helps her feel safe. She hasn’t been exposed to kids in our care, and due to her anxious nature, she’ll likely do best in a home with children 12+. Foxy enjoys spending time in the yard, going for walks, hopping in the car for rides, and following her people around the house like a little shadow. She knows “sit” and is described as adaptable, happy, and loyal. While she may be anxious at first, once she settles in, she adjusts beautifully. Her foster mom shared that Foxy will be a lovely companion for someone wanting a devoted sidekick. She’ll sit by your feet while you get ready for work, keep watch while you shower, and happily claim a spot on the furniture—so be prepared to make some room for your new princess. Foxy is a very sweet, loving girl who’s ready to be the heart of her forever home. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
