Meet Koa, your future best friend and resident goofball! 3 years old and 70 pounds, Koa is a playful guy with a big personality. He’s equal parts athlete and comedian, graceful one moment and hilariously clumsy the next. His absolute favorite thing in the world? BALL. Toss one his way and you’ll instantly see his joyful, goofy side come to life. He already knows “sit,” loves treats, and is eager to learn more, especially if snacks are involved. Strong on leash and sometimes bouncy, Koa is looking for an adopter who can help him channel his enthusiasm into good manners. He’ll benefit from reward-based training focused on loose leash walking, “four on the floor,” and calming skills. With consistency and guidance, he has all the potential to shine. Koa previously lived with another dog, but has been uncomfortable meeting new canine friends at the shelter. A well-matched dog companion, or perhaps being your one-and-only, would suit him best.
