This handsome guy approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and enough energy to keep things interesting. Jasper loves having furry friends around and would be happiest in a home with another dog or even a cat to keep him company. He enjoys making friends, although he’s still working on the important life lesson that sharing toys is a good thing. This smart boy already knows several commands, including sit, paw, and outside, and he’s eager to learn more—especially if treats are involved! Short, fun training sessions are the way to his heart. Jasper walks nicely on a leash and absolutely loves spending time outdoors. In fact, he loves adventures so much that he tends to view an open door as his personal invitation to go explore the world, so a secure fenced yard is a must. Jasper’s dream home would include a big yard, plenty of playtime, and a family that enjoys an active lifestyle. As with many young dogs, he’s still working on his manners and occasionally forgets that not everyone appreciates his enthusiastic greetings. Because he can be a bit jumpy when excited, a home with very young children may need extra supervision while he continues learning.
