Here's Your Quick Peek: We all love this dog here - but "we" are the staff and caregivers who know and live dogs constantly. We understand what a dog like Hanks wants and needs. It's not to be coddled. It's to be respected and partnered with. We want to be completely honest when it comes to Hank, because finding the right home for him matters more than anything. Hank is not the right fit for every household. He has been in the wrong home before and we won't do that to him again. But - in the right environment, he has the potential to be an incredibly loving and rewarding companion. Hank has bitten in the past, and because of this history he will not be placed in a home with children. He needs a calm, predictable, and permanently child-free household where routines are steady and expectations are clear.
