Boots is waiting for you at Friends for Life Animal Rescue in Paramus, NJ 07652. Boots (or Birdie, as her foster likes to call her) is a female, lab mix puppy. After being dumped on the side of a highway in south Texas, she and her sisters survived against all odds, by sheltering under a broken down car for two weeks before coming into rescue. Despite her rough start, she and her sisters are very loving and remarkably gentle puppies. She is quiet and thoughtful. She is a shadow dog who likes to follow you around the house. She won’t use you as a chew toy or demand too much attention, and she is eager to please. Boots is a very special OLD SOUL in a puppy package. Personality: sweet, friendly, playful, affectionate, a little shy when meeting new people Good with: people of all ages (including kids), dogs Estimated age: 5 months (as of 7/8) Weight: 20 pounds (as of 7/8) Training: working on house training (uses pee pads for now) Medical: vetted, vaccinated & microchipped w/lifetime registration Location: being fostered in NJ; get approved to meet her!
