He is now available for adoption and ready to find a home that appreciates his unique and loyal personality. Oso embodies many of the classic Chow Chow traits — he's independent, observant, and forms strong bonds with his people. He may take a little time to get comfortable in new situations, but with calm, respectful introductions he warms up quickly and becomes a devoted companion. Oso does well with other dogs when introductions are taken slowly, and he is also good with people who allow him time to settle in at his own pace. Because Oso thrives in a calmer environment and prefers a more predictable routine, he is best suited for a home with older teens or adults. Once comfortable, he enjoys being near his people and will make a loyal, steady companion.
