Cosmo is waiting for you at City of Sacramento Animal Care Services in Sacramento, CA 95818. Hi! I’m Cosmo. I am almost 10 years old and lost my long-time owner several months ago. I have been in foster care since May 31st, 2025. My foster parents have learned that I do very well with routines and schedules. I love to cuddle & would absolutely sleep in bed with you if allowed! I am always hungry, and my foster parents have worked hard to help me slim down and become extra strong and healthy. I go on daily walks and would absolutely chase squirrels and cats if I was not leashed. I do like to beg for food, and can be whiny about it, but I’m extra cute, so you’ll absolutely have to resist giving in to me!I do exceptionally well on car rides & will lounge with you and then maybe get the zoomies. I know basic commands like, sit, speak, lay & paw. I love lounging on the couch with my foster parents; and love snuggling in the blanket I stole from my foster mom. Though I can get along with other dogs, I like to be the boss and am protective, I wouldn’t do great with another dog in the home-I want to be completely spoiled. <img src="https://tracker.rescuegroups.org/pet?21878998" width="1" height="1" />
