This handsome little dachshund mix sports a sleek black coat and soulful eyes that quietly say, “I want to play… I just need a minute.”Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for Noodle, but you can see the spark is there. With each passing day, as he starts to feel a little safer, that light in his eyes grows brighter—and we’re all eagerly waiting for his silly, joyful side to fully shine through.Noodle is a gentle, slightly timid guy who would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace. He’s not the life-of-the-party (yet), but give him time, kindness, and a cozy spot to land, and you’ll discover a sweet, playful companion just waiting to emerge.If you’re the kind of person who understands that the best things in life take a little time, Noodle might just be your perfect match.Noodle recently met some social dogs at our shelter and did fine. He wasn’t ready to play, but we hope that as he gets more experience in our shelter playgroups, he’ll be ready to show us his silly side with other dogs. To help expedite the meet and greet process, please make note of my Animal ID number, and those of other dogs you might be interested in meeting. Be sure to bring your ID with you, too.
