Honey is waiting for you at 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue in Sedalia, CO 80135. Honey is a gentle senior girl with a soft, loving personality that really shines once she feels safe. She may be a little timid at first, but she warms up quickly and becomes a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being close to her people.She is fully potty trained and very respectful in the home — not destructive, aside from the occasional stuffed toy she just can’t resist. Honey enjoys going for walks, soaking up the sunshine, and curling up for quiet cuddle time. She’s comfortable in a crate if needed but also does just fine having free roam.Honey gets along well with other dogs, though she’s still a bit too shy to engage in play. She hasn’t been around cats or kids, and she does show some interest in chasing small animals like bunnies on walks.She does have a heart murmur and is scheduled to be evaluated by our partner vet, but it doesn’t stop her from enjoying her day-to-day life.Honey is the kind of dog who will thrive in a calm, patient home where she can continue to build confidence and enjoy her golden years surrounded by love.They were rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas.Meet and greets are by appointment only.
