He already knows "sit," is working on "lay down," and is doing an awesome job with recall. He's eager to please and thrives with positive reinforcement, making training both fun and rewarding.After a day of exploring, Matty is happy to settle down with a favorite chew or a peanut butter-filled Kong. He's fantastic on leash, rides quietly in the car, and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate without a peep. He's also making great progress with potty training and figured out the dog door almost immediately.Matty absolutely adores other dogs and would happily spend all day playing if given the chance. Like many teenage pups, he's still learning that not every dog wants to wrestle 24/7 and is working on understanding when playtime is over. Because he gets so excited around canine friends, he'd likely benefit from being the only dog in the home for now, allowing him to focus on building a strong bond with his people and continuing his training.He's also met cats and was curious but respectful, responding well to redirection when his puppy enthusiasm got the better of him.Matty B is goofy, affectionate, and just the right amount of clumsy to keep you laughing.
