Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and well-mannered in the home, this distinguished gentleman has been enjoying life at Dogtown for the last couple of months—and he’s ready for his next chapter.Bolt warms up quickly to new people and has a naturally sweet, affectionate personality. He does have some OCD-type behaviors, but he’s polite, routine-oriented, and thrives when he knows what to expect. His absolute favorite thing in the world? Chasing water from the hose and popping bubbles—he lights up with joy every time!In the home, Bolt is fully house-trained, crate-trained, and generally well-mannered. He knows a few basic commands like sit and stay, and he’s very treat-motivated, making training fun and rewarding. On leash he can be a bit excitable, but with a steady handler he settles into a good rhythm.Bolt has a medium energy level—just right for a dog his age. He enjoys playtime, mental stimulation, and structured routines. Though he has grown less pushy as he’s matured, he still prefers to be the only pet in the home and is not a match for cats or children.This sweet boy is best suited for a quiet, dog-savvy home with someone who appreciates his heeler-like tendencies, his love for water games, and his loyal nature.
