This smart girl knows sit, paw, and catch!OTHER PETS: Tinkerbell has done well with smaller dogs during her time at TJO. However, she would thrive best as the only pet in a home, as she can become uncomfortable when other dogs receive attention.Should be only pet OWNER EXPERIENCE: Tinkerbell would do best with an adopter who has prior dog experience, experience with positive reinforcement, and understands that some dogs need extra time to adjust. She’s a sensitive girl who will benefit from a patient, understanding owner who can give her the support she needs during her transition. With experience and a calm, consistent approach, her new family can help her settle in and feel safe at her own pace. Some Experience KIDS: Tinkerbell is a cautious dog who takes her time warming up to new people and environments. She can be a bit skittish around sudden sounds and movements, so she thrives best in a calm, predictable home. Because of this, Tinkerbell would do best with children aged 15 and older who understand how to approach dogs gently and respectfully. Any potential adopters with kids should plan for a meet-and-greet to ensure everyone feels comfortable.
