Glenn is waiting for you at Iredell County Animal Services and Control Department in Statesville, NC 28677. Finding a safe place and hunkering down while fireworks were happening, Glenn was too scared to leave his finder’s porch. After scouring her neighborhood for his family and coming up empty, she brought him here, hoping he was chipped or that his family would see him while he was here and appearing on our website. Sadly, no family came to claim him but that is behind him and now Glenn is looking for his new and forever family! Since he has been with us, we have learned: •He is easy to leash and get in and out of his kennel. •He is housebroken •He knows sit•He is one happy boy•He gets the zoomiesHe has met a neutered male since his arrival and was super excited from the start, with tail wags and sniffs for his new friend! He absolutely showed off his zoomies for him, too! He has also gotten to take part in a play group during his stay with us and he loved it! He loves to play with other dogs who also share his love for ‘chase’ and wrestling. He is a gentle player, although he can sometimes be pushy when his friends are tired of playing and he is not. Sweet boy, just wants to play! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all. We don't know how they do with cats and have no way to test for that.All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness.
