Norman Longs for Family Life Again- Calm Couch Potato Looking for New Couch, FOREVER!Norman is back as an owner surrender after being adopted from us just two short years ago, as a result of his family’s housing policies changing and them facing the threat of losing their home. Heartbroken, they were left with no other option than to bring Norman back to us when space was available to do so, after working with our Intake Diversion Coordinator. Big sweet Norman is now here after losing both his home and family and at six years of age, he is ready for his best life with no more change! He is VERY housebroken and walks wonderfully on a leash. Although we are told he is crate trained, his previous family didn’t crate him, because he was such the good boy! He was not around children in his previous home, so we don’t’ have that information. In his previous home, he also had a small dog ‘sibling’ with whom he got along wonderfully, we are told. He met a smaller spayed female while here and was so easy to leash for this meeting with his new friend! He was very calm and perfectly polite and although he was nervous, he was SO sweet! This guy has been referred to by some staff as a ‘precious slug’ given his slow pace with walks and his overall precious personality! Norman is ready to live life as a beloved family member/couch potato once again and this adorable guy absolutely deserves it. We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children are recommended to ensure a good fit for all! We have no information how he may do with cats and have no way to test for that.
