All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Candlestick was the littlest of her litter, but she has one of the biggest personalities you'll ever meet. At just two weeks old, Candlestick arrived in foster care with her mother, Clue, and her four siblings: Dagger, Pistol, Wrench, and Lead Pipe. All of her littermates have now found their forever homes, which means this spunky little girl is the final piece of the puzzle, just waiting for her perfect match. Candlestick has spent her whole life in a loving family home surrounded by children ages 8 to 13, visitors, cats, and all the everyday sights and sounds of a busy household, from vacuums and dishwashers to gardeners and guests. Nothing fazes her. She approaches life with a confidence and enthusiasm that far exceed her size, determined never to miss out on anything. Like her mother, Candlestick is exceptionally smart. She is already learning recall, sit, and basic commands, and she responds eagerly to positive reinforcement.
