Clue: Candlestick is waiting for you at Doggie Protective Services in Sun City, CA 92585. * This dog will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express on Saturday, July 11th from 12-3 PM unless adopted prior to the event. All DPS Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea/tick treated, and microchipped prior to adoption. Adoption fee: $650 Candlestick At a Glance 10-11 weeks old and 5.4 lbs Raised in a foster home since 2 weeks old Socialized with children ages 8 to 13 Introduced to cats Smart, food motivated, and eager to learn Using a puppy door during the day; pee pads in her x-pen at night Learning recall, sit, and basic commands Affectionate and people focused Exposed to household noises and daily family life Expected to stay small when fully grown, like her 22 lb mother Low maintenance coat Don't let her small size fool you. Candlestick was the littlest of her litter, but she has one of the biggest personalities you'll ever meet. At just two weeks old, Candlestick arrived in foster care with her mother, Clue, and her four siblings: Dagger, Pistol, Wrench, and Lead Pipe. All of her littermates have now found their forever homes, which means this spunky little girl is the final piece of the puzzle, just waiting for her perfect match. Candlestick has spent her whole life in a loving family home surrounded by children ages 8 to 13, visitors, cats, and all the everyday sights and sounds of a busy household, from vacuums and dishwashers to gardeners and guests. Nothing fazes her. She approaches life with a confidence and enthusiasm that far exceed her size, determined never to miss out on anything. Like her mother, Candlestick is exceptionally smart. She is already learning recall, sit, and basic commands, and she responds eagerly to positive reinforcement.
