With his striking looks and gentle, intelligent nature, Pierce is the kind of dog who quickly becomes a beloved member of the family. He is leash trained, crate trained, and well-mannered in the home. Pierce enjoys playing with toys but is just as happy settling in close for affection—he truly has a sweet, affectionate side and loves being near his people. He is eager to please, highly intelligent, and even-tempered, making him a wonderful companion and a great candidate for continued training and bonding. Pierce does well with other dogs and is friendly with people, including children. Because he can get a bit excited and may jump up to say hello, he would be best suited for a home with older children rather than toddlers. Pierce is not a match for a home with cats. Pierce is ready for a stable, loving environment where he can continue to thrive and be the loyal companion he is meant to be.
