If you are interested in fostering please fill out an online foster application.Hi, I'm Ketchup, a mostly American Staffordshire Terrier / American Pit Bull with Siberian Husky / Chow / Australian Shepherd / American Bulldog / German Shepherd / Neapolitan Mastiff and Bulldog according to the DNA test, who was rescued from a shelter. I may be a bit shy at first, those who have spent time with me describe me as a sweet and affectionate pooch.I was in a home for a short while and it was noted that I enjoy lounging on the couch or my dog bed. I will also sit politely by the door when I need to go outside. I know my name and seem very good at sitting. I did not beg while they ate, instead I went to the couch or my bed to wait until they were done. I would do best in a forever home with carpeted floors and a calm, gentle environment where I can feel safe and comfortable. They thought I seemed scared of the dark and I didn't warm up entirely to the male in the home. I may need some time to adjust to my new surroundings, but once I do, I will reward you with my love and companionship. I walk well with other dogs at the kennel and I was not dog reactive when out on walks while in the home, so if you have a fur baby in the home already, please bring him/her along so we can do a meet and greet.
