Meet Gertrude, a delightful puppy with a name as charming as her personality. Gertrude and her brothers Abraham Darby, Mr Lincoln, Rambling, Pierre De Ronsard, and David Austin and sister Olivia Austin are named after varieties of beautiful roses. These sweet, friendly, and goofy pups embody the spirit of playfulness and gentleness. Their smart and funny antics will keep you entertained and smiling all day long. They eager to share their love and joy with a forever family who appreciates a loyal and playful companion. They are friendly with everyone they meet including kids, dogs, and even cats – in a curious and playful way. They have gone to events in the park as well as yoga classes! Being just puppies, they will have so much to learn! They'll need house training, crate training and will need to learn to walk on a leash. We strongly recommend that all our dogs attend obedience classes because you get to learn commands together, and it offers an opportunity for confidence building and socialization for the dog. Adopting Gertrude or one of her littermates, means bringing home a bundle of happiness that will fill your life with laughter and companionship. Medical Note: This puppy was born to a mother dog who was positive for heartworm disease and had circulating microfilaria. Microfilariae can be transmitted from mothers to unborn puppies through the placenta; these worms, however, will not develop in the puppy into adult heartworms because the heartworms must pass through a mosquito to fully develop.
