We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Avalanche is shy - she needs to go to a home with a welcoming resident dog who will show her the ropes. Avalanche is Looking For: This sweetie wants nothing more than to trot through the world with all the confidence of a well-loved family pet! Right now, she's timid. She needs extra patient and loving adopters to show her new environments at her pace, and a friendly resident dog who will show her how to dog! Shelter staff say she is very sweet and walks on leash (albeit in a quiet setting - she hasn't been seen in the city). Avalanche is gonna be a great, loving, amazing addition to a household that is ready to give her all the socialization and love she needs.
