What My Foster Says About Me: Lilith is a sweet girl who still has that puppy energy! She is working on walking on leash which seems to be new to her, so we are practicing walking without pulling. She would do best in an active household where she can run around, and she is very food motivated which will be good for training. Heartworm information: Lilith is a truly Lucky Dog. She tested positive for heartworms, but has been treated! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative.
