He also lived with a two year old child while in foster care in Puerto Rico. We haven't seen him with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Special adoption considerations: Because Peter is shy, he needs to go to a home with a confident, welcoming resident dog who will show him the ropes. Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think he would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes. Peter is Looking For: Peter is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. He's eager to get his own humans in the DC area - he's a young boy and has so much to see and do.
