Alfie has a big personality packed into a little body!Alfie came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out on an adventure, Alfie is happiest when he's with his favorite humans.One of Alfie's cutest quirks is that when he wants to go outside, he'll pick up his leash to let you know it's time for an adventure. It's just one of the many ways this smart, charming little guy will make you smile!Alfie walks nicely on a leash and appears to have some previous training. While we can't guarantee he's house-trained, he has shown signs that he may be housebroken. As a young, energetic dog, Alfie would thrive with an active family or individual who can provide daily exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to keep both his mind and body engaged.Since arriving at the shelter, Alfie participated in a meet and greet with another dog and did very well. He displayed appropriate social behavior and was respectful during the interaction, suggesting he may enjoy having a canine companion.
