Candy Cane is waiting for you at Bluebonnet Animal Rescue Network in Whitewright, TX 75491. Candy Cane was rescued along with several other dogs and puppies who had been abandoned on a ranch in Oklahoma. We don't know much about her past, except she appears to have had a litter of puppies before being rescued. Candy Cane has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped, and she also has had surgery to correct entropion. Candy Cane gets along with other dogs, and does fine with submissive dogs, OR with dogs who are equally alpha, as they seem to think dominant dogs are more worthy of their respect. She loves to play with other dogs, and enjoys attention from us. She is shy on meeting new people, but will warm up with a little time and patience. Candy Cane is definitely not safe with chickens. She is doing OK with our goats, but unless you can supervise, or you have a mature LGD who will intervene to prevent her from harming your livestock, we think it's probably best for Candy Cane to be adopted as a family pet.
