Rescued from Downey Shelter, this little boy has experienced more heartbreak than any dog his size ever should. At just 18 pounds, he's proof that the biggest hearts often come in the smallest packages. Despite his past, Matthew still chooses love. Every day, he is learning that not all people will let him down. He is slowly rebuilding his trust, and watching him open his heart is something truly special. Matthew is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is a smart, gentle, and incredibly loving dog who simply needs a family willing to be patient and let him know he is finally safe.
