About Ginger (Lionhead) in Lakeville, MN 55044

Ginger is waiting for you at Rabbit Rescue of MN in Lakeville, MN 55044. Hi, I'm Ginger! If you want a sweet girl with great litterbox habits, you can't have me. Just kidding!!!! My fosters would keep me if they could! I wasn't always living the good life. I was found outside as a stray, trying to make it on my own. Thankfully, I was rescued and introduced to the wonderful world of indoor bunny living—and I have fully embraced being spoiled. Soft blankets, fresh greens, comfy places to flop, and humans who give head scritches? Yes, please! I don't care to be picked up, but I LOVE being near my people. I'll happily jump onto your lap when I'm in the mood or settle down next to you for some quality petting time. I ADORE attention and will often come right up to ask for head rubs. My fosters discovered an important fact about me: I like to poop when I eat my pellets. Instead of fighting it, they put my pellet dish right in my litterbox and—problem solved! I'm very proud of my litterbox habits. One of my favorite activities is bunny flopping. You'll often find me stretched out in complete relaxation, enjoying my safe and comfortable indoor life. I do have a special medical requirement. I have a condition called malocclusion. my front teeth don't line up correctly, causing them to become overgrown. Because of this, I need to see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian every 4–6 weeks to have my front teeth trimmed. It's a quick procedure, and I tolerate it very well. These trims are important because if my teeth get too long, they can interfere with my ability to eat and become uncomfortable. Thankfully, between appointments I eat very well and have a great appetite! Speaking of food, I'm quite the foodie. I love spring mix, cilantro, and parsley. For treats, I enjoy the occasional banana, apple slices broken into small pieces, and strawberries. I eat Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets and my favorite hay is Rabbit Hole Hay. Every morning, I eagerly wait for my favorite treat: Oxbo
