Geoff is waiting for you at Delaware Puppy Rescue in West Grove, PA 19390. Meet Geoff! He is a Peruvian guinea pig and certainly resembles a mop! He has super long luxurious hair, and we can't decide if we should trim the hair around his face or if "bangs" would be a regrettable decision. Maybe we'll leave it up to his adopter! He is very active and friendly and will come right over to you to be pet (and hopefully get some treats!) He stands up on his hind legs when he sees us and it's just the funniest thing. He's a very large guinea pig too! He came to DPR from one of our partner shelters and is excited to find a forever home. He'll need an adopter who is committed to keeping his brushed regularly to prevent matting and to keep him clean. He is definitely a high maintenance guinea pig with all that hair! He is very social and would really love having a guinea pig friend at his new home. Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!
