Murray is waiting for you at Delaware Puppy Rescue in West Grove, PA 19390. Meet Murray! This cutie is only 1 year old and is sweet and friendly as can be. He arrived to DPR from one of our partner shelters and he was so excited to explore his new digs! He "popcorned" with excitement as he ran around his new cage, tested the yummy hay and food and checked out all his hidey house options. Since he's still very young, he has a lot of playful energy and he's just a blast to watch. He loves his fresh fruits and veggies. The only thing he's lacking is a friend! Guinea pigs are very social animals, and we think he'd really love to have a buddy he can play and cuddle with. We don't have any other single boys at the moment, but we are hopeful that his new home will have a nice guinea pig who could be his friend. Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities- they are gentle and we have yet to come across any who bite, and they keep a daytime schedule! They form close bonds with their people, similar to cats and dogs. Did you know they are able to recognize people based on scent, sound and sight?! These sweet animals make wonderful pets!
