Caesar is waiting for you at Humane Society of Missouri - Longmeadow in Union, MO 63084. Meet Caesar, a VERY cute donkey who came to us along with another equine companion after their previous owner was no longer able to care for them. Since arriving, Caesar has received all necessary medical care and completed groundwork training. Now, he's looking for his forever home!Caesar has a calm and somewhat timid personality. He may not thrive in busy environments or around small children, but his quiet nature makes him a peaceful presence. With his sweet face and signature big donkey ears, Caesar is quite endearing. While he might prefer quiet companionship over crowds, he has plenty of love to offer the right person. It took some training (and maybe a few treats along the way!), but with time and patience, our farrier can now trim all four of Ceasar’s feet. Our staff is able to catch him in the pasture for his trims, and the farrier works with him right there in the pasture as well.Caesar gets along with other equine and tends to be on the lower end of the pecking order. His adopter should know that at his previous home, he was quite the escape artist! He will need strong fencing at his future home to ensure he won't pull another Houdini and disappear into the night!
