Adoption listings

Listings may be submitted directly by users, shelters, rescues, nonprofits, or professionals, or received from partner feeds and attributed external sources. Adopt'Animaux normalizes their technical presentation so people can search by species and location.

When an original URL is available, the listing identifies or links to it. Availability, location, and contact details can change quickly. Time-sensitive information should be confirmed on the current page and with the listing author or original source.

Editorial content

Magazine articles are separate from adoption inventory. An “Adopt'Animaux Team” byline identifies the publisher responsible for the article; by itself, it does not represent a veterinary, legal, or other regulated credential. An individual credential should only be displayed when it can be tied to a verifiable identity and experience.

Health, behavior, legal, and nutrition content is general information. It is not a substitute for advice from a veterinarian, attorney, or another appropriately qualified professional.

Dates, figures, and limitations

The publication date records the initial release. A separate modification date is published only when a documented revision is supplied. Listing counts are dynamic and may differ between the website, the app, and a search engine's cached copy.

A data report or adoption observatory should disclose its scope, period, definitions, and calculation method before its findings are treated as reproducible.

Advertising and partnerships

An advertisement, affiliate link, or sponsored article does not turn a nearby listing into an endorsement. Sponsored editorial relationships must be disclosed and kept separate from adoption results.

Corrections and removal requests

A person or organization can report a factual error, incorrect attribution, or request that a removal be reviewed by emailing [email protected]. Please include the affected URL and enough information to verify the requested correction.
