General is waiting for you at Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter in Santa Cruz, CA 95062. Meet General, the 3 year old male black cat with unique white “splotches” of hair on his face. General was surrendered to the Shelter with his brothers Manchy & Jack (who are also up for adoption). He could be adopted with them or separately. General’s previous guardian had some medical conditions that were precluding her from being able to care for him. General has done well in his previous home around two small breed dogs as well as other cats. He was indoors only and used his litterbox reliably. General’s favorite activities are playing with toys and sleeping. He can be afraid of loud noises. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
