Some dogs have a way of making every day feel a little brighter, and Sunny couldn’t have a more fitting name. This sweet Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is as cheerful and easygoing as they come. She wakes up happy, greets life with a gentle spirit, and is simply content being part of whatever is happening around her. Sunny has the cutest little quirk that always makes people smile. When she’s feeling especially happy or excited, she’ll lie on the floor and alternate stretching her front legs over and over, looking just like she’s “swimming.” It’s an adorable signature move that’s impossible not to love! At home, Sunny is wonderfully low-maintenance. She’s usually quiet, although she may offer a few barks if she thinks she spots something interesting outside before happily settling back into her favorite lookout spot. One of her favorite places to relax is in a cozy bed by a window or door where she can keep an eye on the world while soaking up the day. While Sunny isn’t the type to demand constant cuddles, she absolutely enjoys being near her people. She’s happiest lounging beside you on the couch, soaking up gentle pets and quiet companionship. She’s affectionate in her own calm, understated way and has a peaceful presence that’s incredibly comforting. Sunny takes life in stride. New people, new dogs, and unfamiliar places don’t seem to bother her—she approaches the world with confidence and an easygoing attitude. The one time you’ll see her become determined is when the leash comes out! She absolutely loves her walks and enthusiastically tries to lead the way down her favorite routes. She’s currently carrying a little extra weight, so her future family will need to continue helping her stay on track with daily walks and gentle exercise.
