Indie is waiting for you at Labradors and Friends Dog Rescue Group in San Diego, CA 92108. Foster or forever home wanted, meet Indie! This sweet pup had a bit of a rough start, with two puppies in tow that we believe may be her pups. A woman arrived at the Lancaster shelter with five dogs in her car claiming she found them loose on the side of the road. They asked her to come to the side window where they could impound the dogs. Next thing you know, she opened the car door and let them loose in their parking lot! Luckily the shelter staff was able to round them up and secure them. Unfortunately, they discovered Indie was pregnant and they scheduled her for a spay abort. We were able to arrange to get her out of the shelter where she will recover and we'll see to it she gets into a loving forever home. She is a very friendly, sweet pup that deserves to have that second chance. Indie will shower you in kisses! Currently Indie is in boarding, so we'd love to get her into a home as soon as possible. The volunteers and staff gave her a thumbs up, and she received the highest possible behavior score while in the shelter. We will continue to update her bio as we learn more about her.
